Dementia in Individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities

- Discuss dementia in people with I/DD.
- Identify two dementia screening tools to use with individuals with I/DD.
- Discuss the components of comprehensive dementia diagnosis.
- Describe current dementia medications and current state of research on their use in people with I/DD.

Prosecution Point of View of Vulnerable Adult Offenses

- Identify the various ways a person qualifies as a vulnerable adult in Michigan under MCL 750.145m.
- Discuss the various charging area in Michigan.
- Determine what the police are looking for.
- Determine the effect of power of attorney.
- Identify red flags to look out for and how to offer protection.
