The Effect of the Public Health Emergency on Compliance Webinar

The ability for community –based services to provide care in the traditional manner has been affected since the start of the Pubic Health Emergency. Patients are refusing visits and staff are learning to conduct remote visits while attempting to meet the need of the patients. Many are struggling with addressing Comprehensive Assessments, Plans of Care, and provision of quality services. Using critical thinking to develop processes to deal with these challenges is essential to the success of providing quality care, complying with Conditions of Participation and attaining positive patient outcomes. This presentation will address how to think through these challenges and the importance of ongoing evaluation of care provisions.

Description

1. Identify the top three Conditions of Participation cited in the Home Health and Hospice..

2. Discuss their agency’s ability to provide care that results in positive patient outcomes while successfully navigating.  Challenges related to the Public Health Emergency (PHE).

3. Develop critical thinking processes in the evaluation of their care and compliance to the CoPs.
