These educational webinars will focus on assisting home health clinical staff, QI Coordinators and supervisors who want to increase their knowledge related to OASIS completion. The sessions will identify the items that contribute to the new CMS value-based purchasing model and provide tips for accurate completion. All webinars are from 3:00pm-4:15pm EST.

Teresa specializes in training on OASIS Assessment. documentation, and coding, focusing on customized education for clinical staff. She has also presented on quality outcome improvement, agency communications and processes, and care transitions for state and regional conferences. Teresa brings comprehensive and contemporary knowledge of home care and quality improvement methods.
Part One: January 17, 2018
This webinar will be an introduction to OASIS: purpose and uses, basic conventions, diagnosis items, sensory, pain and respiratory items. OASIS credentialing opportunities will be discussed.
Part Two: January 24, 2018
This webinar will cover ADL items.
Part Three: January 31, 2018
This webinar will cover wound items.
Part Four: February 7, 2018
This webinar will cover Medication Items, and Mental/Behavioral Items.
Part Five: February 14, 2018
This webinar will cover process items including: Heart Failure and Timely Initiation of Care, linking M1240, M1300, M1730 and M1910 to Care Plan/Intervention Synopsis items M2250 and M2401, Emergent Care and Discharge items.
Convenience: Enjoy the convenience and cost-efficiency of a webinar – watch the speaker’s slide presentation on the internet while listening by telephone or through your computer’s microphone and speakers (VoIP). There is no limit to the number of attendees from your agency who may participate at your site using one phone line and a computer with internet access.
Confirmation: Prior to the webinar, a GoToWebinar link will be e-mailed to you. You will need to register through this link to attend the webinar. You will be sent a confirmation which will include a join link to access the webinar, a dial-in number and an access code to listen in via telephone. You will also be sent any pertinent handouts if available.
Registration Fee: Registration fees are based on one phone/webinar connection; multiple site participation for your agency will require a separate registration fee for each connection. Please note: if your agency has sent in 1 registration but 3 people from your agency register through the GTW link, your agency will be invoiced for the 2 additional registrations.
Following the webinar, you will receive a recording via link and it will be available for 30 days following the webinar.
